Nothing will ever stop people from being who they are. True Love will always overcome. Take that Walt. She looks a lot nicer than Christian Bale. Squirrels are easily in my top 5 favourite animals. What planet is that in the background? Do you think they watch Batman in Sweden? This must have been in the 90’s because no girls would go out these days for Halloween with costumes so ill fitting. Was the cat in Alice in Wonderland always cross eyed? Was H.R. Pufnstuf broadcast in colour? This is a cool picture. How will I turn it into a journal and talk about it. I got an Idea :)

These are the things that crossed my mind, in order, as I looked at this piece.

My Mind is a DeLorean:

I can go,

Where I please.

I can go,

When I want.

I can go,

Whenever I feel.

My mind is a Delorean,

If you put your mind to it,

you can accomplish anything.

“If nothing saves us from death, at least love should save us from life.” —Pablo Neruda (via cordisre)
This pictures embodies everything Metaphysics and epistemology means to me.
We are never going to find the answers to why or how we got here, what or how we can think about things, who or where are we, who or what put us here, so why ask the questions. Why can’t we just look at this world for what it is, look at this picture  for what it is and go, “Wow, that’s interesting,” and move on.

I found this picture extremely funny when I first saw it, and then it hit me. Most people will never understand what this is. This picture shows how much of a generational gap we have in our society.
People under 18 (or maybe people a little older than that) will see this picture and only recognize the angry birds. They will have no idea who the person on the park bench is (Alfred Hitchcock). People over 40 (or maybe even a little younger) will only recognize Alfred Hitchcock and have no clue why all these birds are looking at him with such anger. Then there are the people in the middle who will laugh and laugh at this picture, favourite it, and blog about it later.
Generation gaps, weird…

Innovation:

It’s weird to think about all the things that we see and go, “oh, that’s a good idea, why didn’t I think of that?” There are so many little inventions that people make everyday, that are just so meaningless, but we love them so much. The snuggie. The shake weight. These are things we don’t need but yet so many people are seeing them and buying them up. Why, I don’t get it? Why aren’t we putting our efforts in things like the picture above? Something looks good and solves a problem that many people have.

You see, as I write this I realize, this is the same as the snuggie and the shake weight? This mailbox isn’t doing anything but aiding someone to lazy to water their plants, but isn’t that what innovation does? Is it not just making our lives easier by giving us more time to do other things?
